1,8-naphthalimide as a classic fluorophore, different substituent on different position has different effect on the fluorescence property. This paper first studied the influence of amino peri-effect of naphthalimide with the fluorescence sensing property.3-amino,4-amino and 3, 4-amino naphthalimide derived fluorescence probes were synthesized and their sensing property has been studied detailedly. The results showed that the amino peri-effect of naphthalimide affected the fluorescence sensing properties respectively.1. The influence of amino peri-effect of 3-amino and 4-amino naphthalimide on fluorescence sensing properties was verified by the NMR, IR and fluorescence emission spectras.4-amino squeezed by 5-proton leads to the structural instability and torsion, resulting in the change on fluorescence sensing properties.2. Two "OFF-ON" fluorescent probes SA and MA were designed and synthesized, both choosing 1,8-naphthalimide as the fluorescent scaffold and 4-amino phenoxyl as the reactive receptor. Probe SA was synthesized successfully, and the characteristic of spectras were studied carefully.3. The "OFF-ON" fluorescent probe DS for detecting phosgene was designed and synthesized, choosing 1,8-naphthalimide as the fluorescent scaffold and 3,4-diamino as the reactive receptor. Probe DS exhibited good selectivity against phosgene among various reactive oxygen or nitrogen species including ONOO", H2O2, ClO-, etc. This work has important significance on war, academic and industrial development. Non-fluorescence of probe DS demonstrates amino peri-effect on fluorescence sensing properties.
