At present, the domestic machining is not yet skilled at automatic control technology, which is especially true for some small and medium-sized enterprises. Traditional electric control or semi-automatic control is still the first choice for machine finishing. With an increase in the demand for the quality of products, the present technicians who specialize in control systems cannot meet the requirements. What’s more, the big errors with the product quality, the obsolete control equipments, and the equipment maintenance which is both time-consuming and labor-consuming, together with some other factors, drive this profession to research and develop more advanced and expeditious control systems. In order to speed up the processes by measuring engines, enterprises require us to develop a new automatic control system. Based on the rapid development of mechanical techniques in recent years, and by reading a great deal of data on traditional electric control system, a creative idea is put forward in this design:by combining traditional electric control system and the application software PLC, and with the coordination of new sensing technology, a brand new design plan with the automatic control of bolt measuring engines is put forward. This plan goes like this:firstly, with a hertz oscillator, bolts are automatically sorted and put in order. Next, they are transmitted through a slope-like conveyor belt to a cylinder finalizing installation which is driven by an electromagnetic control system. Then, while passing by leading screws and cylinder clamping installations which is connected with motors, bolts will be precisely located on drilling platforms and be perforated. Finally, qualified products and unqualified ones will be separated and sorted as is required by manufacturers. Compared with traditional manual electric control system, automatic PLC control processing reduces the cost while improving the quality and increasing the quantity and profits, thus, it will meet the need of both the market and enterprises.This design mainly covers the design processes of air pressure and electromagnetism reversing control loop, sensing technology, and PLC technology, including the optimization selection and practicing of design plans. In addition, this plan involves issues such as the selection of electric control systems, the selection, application and programming of PLC software, and the selection of sensor elements, etc.
