With the expanding of the food industrial production scale and the increasing of social logistics methods,the channels and ranges of product sales are expanding rapidly.Therefore the cultural assimilation of different regions make them lost their own characteristics gradually. Rich regional culture products has not been effective promoted and get consumer recognition in the market. Package can protect products, make storage,transportation and sales more convenient, at the same time, it can be the medium of cultural transmission. Designing excellent local products package to establish good image, improve consumer recognition of local products and promote the regional culture are the basic starting points for this essay.Get knowledge of the development of local products market and existing problems, I aims to redesign the package of preserved eggs. The essay is based on the theory of brand and packaging design, exploring the best design of the local special preserved egg brand, solving the problems of lacking features and brand consciousness. In the specific design practice, to facilitate the design as the theoretical guidance to meet the consumers in different life situations of preserved egg consumption demand, increase the convenience for the use of the packaging. At the same time, the structure ofthe packaging design, is conducive to packaging to reduce production costs,convenient transportation, reduce waste of packaging space. This method is beneficial to reduce the production cost, make transportation more convenient, reduce packaging waste of the space, also facilitate consumers to eat preserved egg. Packing structure designed to reduce dependence on plastic, use paper material as far as possible, in order to reduce the environmental pollution caused by packaging, at the same time, paper can reuse and recycling.Through the special local product of preserved egg brand and packaging design, the essay aims to coalesce the local regional culture and modern design.Embody the characteristics of local products packaging, at the same time, don’t deny the modern culture, pursuit modern culture and not to lose local characteristics. By reshaping local products and good brand image, we aims to improve consumer recognition of local products, help to broaden the new consumer demand, improve people’s consumption patterns,promote the formation of low carbon way of life and realize the growth of the social and economic benefits. At the same time, broadcast the area of the regional culture.
