According to the current status of the development of mining equipment at home and abroad and the prominent issues identified to improve wear of the jaw crusher liner. Mineral particles bonded models were created with EDEM, a useful tool to improve the wear of jaw crusher liner, a reliable model of broken particles was established by combining PE250′ 400 jaw crusher liners, common tooth geometry and conducting a set of relevant parameters in EDEM by using the parameter inversion Methods.as a result of the analysis of jaw crusher liner wear mechanism,a clear improvement which is to improve the force suffered by the liner to better the wear status of the liner.U12(123) uniform design simulation programs was established with uniform design theory by combining nip angle, lining tooth, movable jaw plate stroke,the maximum breaking force, power and broken effect.Gaining the most sensitive factor among three factors by parameter optimization and step wise regression analysis,The optimal combination of parameters and the final regression equation as well.The proposed optimization scheme based on improved maximum crushing force was gained through quantitative and qualitative analysis of most sensitive factor. The optimization effect was tested by comparing with the result of triangular and trapezoidal tooth teeth as well as considering power and broken effect with EDEM. Based on the above research ideas to do some work and get some useful conclusions, as follows:1. Mineral particles broken model was achieved with jaw crusher geometry drawn inSolid Works and some necessary particle coordinates files created.2. The degree of sensitivity of three factors to three crusher index was obtained,whichshows that the most sensitive factor for the maximum crushing force is lining tooth.3. The optimization program based on the triangular teeth liners which was gained by ualitative and Quantitative Analysis,as well as common teeth liners were simulating about the maximum breaking force, power and broken effect. Finally, studies shows that lining optimized greatly reduces the maximum force, while the energy consumption and broken effect comparing toThe common liner has improved greatly as well,especial in aspect of energy consumption,which is the same as above conclusion.Overall, The new liner improved the maximum force as well as the energy consumption and broken effect, the valuable results will contribute the improvement of wear of the liner from the theoretical to the practical.
