Oil-adsorption resin is an important oil remove materials and of high economical value. The oil removing methods include conventional methods, chemical treatment, physical treatment method, and a new processing method. Compared to traditional treatment methods and chemical treatment, physical treatment method can reduce the pollution of environment, and oil-adsorption resin is wildly used in this method. Hence, with the increasingly serious oil pill accidents, there is an increasing demand for oil-adsorption resin both in domestic and international. The industry methods of preparation the resin include emulsion polymerization, suspension polymerization and dispersion polymerization and so on. So far, people have prepared a variety kinds of oil-adsorption resin. In the actual application process of the traditional resin, there is some disadvantages, such as adsorption of a single species, poor oil suction rate, difficult for recovery and so on. Therefore, one of the foremost challenges currently facing the chemical industry is to look for a kind of resin that can absorb multi-kinds of oil, high oil suction rate and can be recovered effectively.Hence, in order to resolve the above problem effectively, our work mainly included use cetyl-trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTMAB) to modify inorganic-bentonite, synthetize oil-adsorption resin with hexadecyl methacrylate and styrene. With the composition of organic-bentonite and resin, the suction rate has enhanced obviously. Some following works have been done:(1) CTMAB was used to modify inorganic-bentonite to prepare inorganic-bentonite.(2) Hexadecyl methacrylate was used to synthetize oil-adsorption resin. The influence of various reaction parmeters such as the different molar ratio of cross-link agents, initiators and dispersing agents on the oil adsorption capacity was studied. The resolute showed that the suction rate of C6H6 and CCl4 are 4.3 g/g and 10.4 g/g respectively.(3) Organic-bentonite and hexadecyl methacrylate were used to synthetize composite materials. The adsorption rate to C6H6 and CCl4 were 9.5 g/g and 16.3 g/g respectively.(4) Hexadecyl methacrylate and styrene were used to prepare oil-adsorption resin. With the different molar ratio of reactions, the resolute showed that the ratio to C6H6 and CCl4 were 11.4 g/g and 15.2 g/g respectively.(5) Hexadecyl methacrylate、styrene and organic-bentonite were used to synthetize oil-adsorption materials. The suction rate to C6H6 and CCl4 were 13.7 g/g and 19.7 g/g...
