Our lives are closely linked with woods, because woods are renewable resource and human energy source, so the study of wood became important point and aroused people’s concern. The bionic design aroused people’s inner natural feeling, the design in all the nature and applied to social fields, and also provided new concept and idea.With the progress of the science and technology, the bionic design is not only develop in the macro fields but also in the micro fields. The application of wood micro structural bionic design is a new research method that is in combination with the bionic design, the clothing design and the wood micro structural. Its research is wide and content is rich and colorful.This research include content and analysis of the situation about the wood structural, the bionic design and the clothing design, summarizing the application methods of the wood micro structural in the clothing design. This article selects the ebony and the scales spruce as the research objects, selecting and finishing the featured pictures of the micro structural, using bionic technique to create, finally, using the design drawing with through the design methods of clothing color, shell fabric and technology, to prove the feasibility of applying in clothing design.
