In the 21 st century, with the further development of the photoelectric technology, the fourth generation of new light source came out, WLED(white light emitting diode) lights is widely used in all kinds of photoelectric field,which has many advantages such as energy saving, environmental protection,high efficiency, long-lasting performance, high brightness and so on.Rare earth Eu3+, Tb3+ and Ce3+are common red, green and blue lights activators, which has many advantages such as good luminous color purity,high luminous intensity and long-lasting performance, thus becoming the main object of red, yellow and green luminescence materials research. At the same time, the matrix has a powerful influence on the luminescence property of luminescence materials producted by the three kinds of activators,therefore, it is very important to choose a good matrix. The paper depends on the method of sol-gel, which prepares the red luminescence material Eu3+:YBO3-2SiO2, the green luminescence material Tb3+:YBO3-2Si O2, the blue luminescence material Ce3+:4YBO3-SiO2, the white luminescence material Eu3+/Tb3+: YBO3-2SiO2 and Eu3+/Tb3+/Ce3+: YBO3-2SiO2. The crystals structure and the luminescent properties of samples were characterized by the method of test of DTA-TG, IR, XRD, TEM, excitation and emission spectrum,respectively. The results indicated that the red samples of the Eu3+:YBO3-2SiO2 was consisted of YBO3, which was annealed 900℃,doped with 9.0 mol%. In addition, the best excitation wavelength was at 395 nmwhen the wavelength of the monitoring light was at 612 nm. The results indicated that the green samples of the Tb3+:YBO3-2SiO2 was consisted of YBO3, which was annealed 900℃,doped with 9.0 mol%. In addition, the best excitation wavelength was at 377 nm when the wavelength of the monitoring light was at 543 nm. The results indicated that the blue samples of the Ce3+:4YBO3-SiO2 was consisted of YBO3, which was annealed900℃,doped with 6.0 mol%. In addition, the best excitation wavelength was at 366 nm when the wavelength of the monitoring light was at 426 nm. The results indicated that the white samples of the Eu3+/Tb3+:YBO3-2SiO2 was consisted of YBO3, which was annealed 900℃, doped with 9.0/9.0 mol%.The results indicated that the white samples of the Eu3+/Tb3+/Ce3+:YBO3-2SiO2 was consisted of YBO3, which was annealed 900℃.
