Recent, the visible-light induced chemical transformations serve as a new kind of photo radical reaction in radical-involving organic synthesis. Visible light is considered an ideal reagent for photo-induced radical reactions due to its natural abundance, high efficiency, and environmental benign properties.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:1. According to the types of radical reaction, we have described the recent advances in the field.2. We develop a visible-light induced [Ir (ppy) (dtb-bpy)]PF6-catalyzed reductive cyclization reaction of o-iodophenylacrylamides via 5-exo-trig radical cyclization under mild reactions, affording the biologically important indolin-2-ones in moderate to good yields. All the compounds synthesized were characterized by NMR, HRMS-ESI and GC-MS analysis.3. Using this strategy as the key step, we try to synthesis the (±)-coerulescine.
