Environmental pollution has become one of the most serious problems that human face currently, the water pollution has been widespread attention around the world. Various treatment methods, environmental remediation and cleanup materials emerged.In this paper, Based on the microcrystalline cellulose as a carrier. Followed by the use of 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl trimethyl amm-onium chloride and 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid, made the amino group and a sulfonic acid group grafted onto the microcrystalline cellulose. Ultimately acquire the two properties microcrystalline cellulose. Next base on the two properties microcrystalline cellulose, Use high iron chloride and ferrous sulfate heptahydrate generate magnetic adsorption materials based on the two properties microcrystalline cellulose on the surface with in situ method.By adsorption of heavy metal ions and dyes, optimize the preparation and adsorption process of magnetic adsorbent. We characterize and analyze the adsorbent by FT-IR,SEM and XRD, and by examining the adsorption of dye and metal ions to study and analyze the adsorption performance level. The results show:First, the magnetic adsorbent’s maximum adsorption capacities of methylene blue and congo red was 94.2mg/g and 127.1mg/g, the maximum adsorption capacities of the magnetic adsorption materials for Cd2+, Pb2+ were 68.9mg/g å'Œ 198.2mg/g, it show that the magnetic adsorption materials have good adsorption capacity for dye and heavy metals, the magnetic adsorption materials is tested by magnet before and after adsorption which has good recyclability performance.Second, the optimum adsorption process of magnetic adsorbent dye adsorption: adsorbent dosage is 1.5g, adsorption time is 200 min, Initial concentration is 200mg/g, congo red is liquid p H, methylene blue p H is 8 to 9; the optimum adsorption process of magnetic adsorbent heavy metal adsorption: adsorbent dosage is 2.0g, adsorption time is 200 min, Initial concentration is 300mg/g, stock solution p H.Third, the adsorption t of dyes and heavy metals can fit the pseudo-second-order kinetics model well. The adsorption process of dye is much better to fit with the Langmuir isotherm model, which belongs to monolayer adsorption. The adsorption process of heavy metal ions can use Freundlich adsorption isotherm model to describe, which belongs to one of polymolecular layer.
