With the continuous expansion of tritium applications in the fields of energy, military, radiology, etc. The place which involving tritium has also increased. As the same time, the personal tritium protection is very important. Currently the personal tritium protection tools have their shortcomings,and they can not achieve the perfect personal tritium protection. As technology advances, the searching for a convenient and efficient tool for tritium protection has its significance!In the usual environment which involves tritium, a large part of tritium are in the form of tritiated water gas exiting in the surrounding air. Therefore, this paper aims to use the characteristics of molecular sieve and the irradiation equipment Porous Hydrogel which have specific adsorption to he water molecules. We hope that by studying the molecular sieve and porous polymeric hydrogel’ s performance, and eventually the molecular sieves and porous polymeric hydrogel can simply and effectively applied to the actual environment where involves tritium gas.According to the characteristic of molecular sieve, with the nitrogen with certain dew point and tritium concentration passing through the molecular sieve with a steady flow and continuous measuring the changes of tritium concentration before and after the molecular sieve as well as the quality changes before and after the penetration, the tritium protection effect of molecular sieve in actual environment was determined. The experimental results show that the tritiated water adsorption effect of anhydrous molecular sieve is the best: the filtration efficiency within 4 h stays above 95% which has high efficiency and stays for a long time; the molecular sieve with 1/3 absorbed water shows a good performance which has a filtration efficiency maintaining above 90% within 3 h. Considering the comfortable degree and filtration efficiency, molecular sieve with 1/3 absorbed water is more suitable for practical tritium protection field.Meanwhile, the mixed the solution of carbon nanotubes, acrylic acid and acrylamide in water by Co60 source irradiation, than we can get the carnon nanotubes grafted polymer hydrogels. The water absorption of polymer hydrogel increase of the dosage. The water absorption of polymer hydrogel decreased with the increase of the dosage of acrylic acid. In carbon nanotubes dispersed solution volume 5ml before, the rate of water absorption of the polymer hydrogel decreased with the dispersion of carbon nanotubes solution increased; in carbon nanotubes dispersed solution volume reached 5ml, the water absorption of the polymer hydrogel rate remained basically unchanged. And the water absorption of polymer hydrogel decreases with the increase of dose.
