Grinding is an important process in minning industries,semi-autogenous grinding mills(SAG) are key equipments and widely used in concentratorall over the world,because of its advantages such as high throughput.The grinding efficiency directly affects the result of beneficiation.Therefore its significant to research the motion of charge and the power of SAG.In this paper,SAGf500mm′260mm is chosed as the research object and the study is finished by means of in combination with theoretical analysis,computer simulation analysis and experiment,and the main worker is as follows:to set up the power model based on the research of charge motion and power consumption in SAG;build a simulation model of SAG based on discrete element method and the grinding process simulation of SAG under different parameters is done;and according to the simulation analysis its correlative experiment research of the SAG grinding process are completed.The result of this paper can be obtained as follows:(1) On the based of analysis the principle of SAG and the charge motion theory,the essence of the grinding and the affect of lifter structural parameters on the useful power model are researched.(2) A simulation model of SAG is build to analysis the process of grinding from several aspects such as the speed of SAG,the number and the height of the lifter;find out the best parameter combination to improve the efficiency of SAG.(3) The experiment results are analysis from the useful power and the specific energy consumption and found the influence low of the operation parameters and the lifter structural parameters on SAG and come up with a best parameter combination.It is shown from above,the study of this paper will provide some available approaches with research on the theory of SAG and its application,and there are theoretical meanings and practice application value.
