In recent years, the development of advanced oxidation technology rapidly and gradually became a most potential technology for water treatment, which came into being a new advanced oxidation technology based on the sulfate free radical (·SO4-), by using different methods to activated persulphate to produce·SO4-which has a strong oxidizing to deal with recalcitrant organic pollutants. This text use four method to activated sodium persulfate (Na2S2O8) to produce·SO4-sunch as microwave induced, microwave induced/Ag+, transition metal ions(Fe2+、Co2+) and UV/Fe0, and use the common toxicity organic pollutant dimethyl phthalate (DMP) as the aim pollutant, examine the degradation rate of DMP under the different factors conditions, analysis the parameter variation of DMP concentration and COD concentration and the differences degradation rate of DMP in different experimental conditions, during the experiment, under the optimum reaction conditions, use tert-butanol and ethanol as inhibitors to suppression·SO4-, investigate the activation effect of Na2S2O8. Specific experiment results as follows:(1) The optimum reaction conditions in microwave induced are:microwave power was800W, the temperature was100℃, the removal rate of DMP and COD was72%and60%respectively when the ratio of sodium persulfate to dimethyl phthalate was0.6after140seconds.(2)Microwave induced and Ag+synergy, the degradation efficiencies of dimethyl phthalate was investigated by changing the dosage of sodium persulfate and the mole ratio of Ag+and sodium persulfate under different power, temperature, and time conditions. The results showed that the degradation efficiencies of DMP and COD were64%and75%when the ratio of sodium persulfate to dimethyl phthalate was0.4and the mole ratio of Ag+and sodium persulfate was0.5,800W,100℃after120seconds.(3) Activated sodium persulfate (Na2S2O8) by Fe2+to disintegrate DMP, the removal rate of DMP and COD was66%and53%respectively when the ratio of sodium persulfate to dimethyl phthalate was0.6at60℃after4hours. Activated sodium persulfate (Na2S2O8) by Co2+to disintegrate DMP, the removal rate of DMP and COD was71%and59%respectively when the ratio of sodium persulfate to dimethyl phthalate was0.6at60℃after3.5hours.(4) Studyde the degradation of dimethyl phthalate (DMP) in UV/Fe0condition, results show that the removal rate of DMP and COD was65%and51%respectively when the ratio of sodium persulfate to dimethyl phthalate was0.5and the concentration of Fe0was0.15g/L after ultraviolet radiation2.5hours.
