Triazenes are a class of compounds characteristic of unique structures, and thehistory concerning the studies on triazenes may be traced back to one hundred yearsago. They have been studied for their anticancer potential, natural product synthesisand combinatorial chemistry, incorporated into polymer and oligomer synthesis, andused to form novel heterocycles. In this dissertation, we summarized the reactionsrelated to the triazenes. Also, we described the new method for the synthesis offluorene derivatives and the study on selective allylation reaction of aryltriazeneGrignard reagents. My major works were listed as follows:1. A CF3COOH-promoted intramolecular annulation approach to the synyhesis offluorine derivatives with excellent yield from biaryl triazenes. The reaction conditionis mild and can tolerate many functional groups. Moreover, the method is completelysolve the regioselectivity problem.2. A method for allylic alkylation reaction by using aryltriazene Grignardreagents was developed, which could control the SN2’ and SN2reaction. Thearyltriazene Grignard reagents were synthesized though the exchange ofo-iodo-aryltriazenes and isopropyl Grignard reagents.
