| Gantry machining center has the structure strong rigidity, large working range, high efficiency, especially play an important place in the smooth surface processing, as well as automotive, mold, aerospace complex precision parts processing, It has become a generic device of modern metal cutting machine tools. Five-axis linkage machine tool represents the integrated direction of advanced manufacturing technology, also is an important part in the field of the whole machine, machine tool determines the product processing quality and production efficiency, product update to a large extent. In recent years, the five-axis nc machining technology has attracted much attention due to superior performance in many ways. Because of the cutting tool machining can be from any direction without replacement fixture or to the clamping, so the five-axis nc machine tools in the productivity flexible and processing quality is higher than that of three axis machine tool. Five-axis machine tool can increase the material removal rate, improve the surface accuracy and reduce cutting time. But as a result of five-axis machine tool stiffness is poorer, so it’s not suitable for heavy cutting and high speed machining, and the machining precision of five-axis machine tools usually is not so high three axis machine tool. Therefore, in recent years, improve the speed, high precision, intelligence, flexibility and greening, stabilization and integration, become the main target of five-axis machine tools’research. But the correlation of straight axis and the axis of rotation make the mathematical model is very complex, the application of the relevant technology is also very difficult. In this paper the research content as follows:(1) Analyzed the Gantry five-axis NC machine error sources, and comprehensive error modeling, established the dynamic model based on friction. As to provide theoretical basis for the follow-up measurement machine tool error, error compensation is more accurate.(2) For this paper’s large gantry five-axis machine tools made in a percentage of the simple model, and measureed the error by two kinds of instruments. The first is to use the Renishaw XL-80 laser interferometer to measure the error of machine tool. The second is to use DongDu IM-2DT electronic level to measure the error of nc machine tools.(3) Through the SolidWorks solid modeling of five-axis machine tool and importe into the workbench for finite element simulation analysis. First to introduce the two software, secondly to elaborates the principle and method for finite element analysis, and then explanate the pretreatment of this article finite element analysis.(4) From three aspects carries on the transient dynamic simulation analysis for the process of machining operation:Rail friction coefficient as a variable, the positon of ram at beam as a variable(center of gravity change), cutter cutting rotary torque direction for variables. Is obtained by simulation extraction displacement change over time in the manufacturing process of synchronization error and the maximum stress and strain. The analysis results with the experimental measurement results are compared, the conclusion. |
