Ecological security pattern is a spatial elements configuration optimization scheme, which is based on the analysis of the current situation of regional ecological environment, planning design and layout by a combination of natural elementsin and man-made elements of the region, in order to solve the ecological environment problems and protect of ecological environment. Ecological security pattern is an important means and way to realize the regional ecological security, which provides new method for the management and protection of ecological environment. This paper takes Jiangxi Province as the study area, based on the theory of landscape ecological security pattern, ecological security assessment and ecological system. The study systematically analyzes the ecological security condition and its changing trend of 2000,2005 and 2010 with the help of RS and GIS technology. This dissertation utilizes the importance of ecological service functions assessment and ecological sensitivity evaluation to delimit the border of ecological red line in Jiangxi province. On the result of the assessment of ecological security and ecological red line, we construct the ecological security pattern of Jiangxi province by using minimum cumulative resistance model. The main contents and conclusions of this dissertation are as follows:(1)Combined with ecological security assessment and ecosystem health evaluation, we build the system of cological security evaluation index, comprehensive evaluating and analyzing the changes and trends of ecological security in Jiangxi province from 2000 to 2010. The result showed that during this period, ecological security index rose from 63.0794 to 63.2933, which indicated that the ecological security level increased at first and then decreased, but the variation of tendency is small. There are 74.29%,76.24%,75.68% of the region which is relatively safe and security level, so the ecological security situation of Jiangxi province was in a relatively safe level and the region was generally ecologically stable and secure.(2)Taking the administrative distict as the unit, comprehensive analyzing the results of ecological security assessment, we find that in the 11 cities of Jiangxi Province, Fuzhou City is the highest ecological security level city, Pingxiang City is the lowest. Ecological security level of Ji’an City, Jingdezhen City and Yichun City is relatively higher than others, but lower than that of Fuzhou City. Yingtan City, Shangrao City and Ganzhou City is in the middle level. Xinyu City, Nanchang City and Jiujiang City is the lower city in addition to Pingxiang City.(3)Through the importance evaluation of ecosystem services and ecological sensitivity assessment, the ecological red line is delineated besides the national nature reserve. The total area of ecological red line is 59608.16km2, accounting for 35.71% of the area, which are mainly distributed in Huaiyu Mountain, Wuyishan Mountain, Nanling Mountain, Luoxiao Mountain, Jiuling Mountain, Mufu Mountain, Yushan Mountain and Poyang Lake. In the area of ecological red line, forest land is 86.95%, followed by wetland, and other land use types are less.(4)We seclected the relatively safe, safety grade region of ecological security evaluation results and ecological red line areas as the source of ecological security pattern, not safe, unsafe levels of regional and urban construction land as urban landexpanding sources. With the MCR model, we calculated the minimum cumulative resistance value and divided different buffer by the difference of minimum cumulative resistance value. We identified a number of ecological security pattern portions, including ecological corridors among sources, radiating routes, ecologically strategic points and three—level ecological function zones, which corresponded ecological protection area and proposed construction countermeasures. Furthermore, the minimum ecological land area is 68465.63km2, accounting for 41.01% of the total region. The size of buffered ecological land and ideal ecological land is respectively 56086.52km2 and 26013.70km2, accounting for 33.60% and 15.58%.
