The ECP technology is energy-saving and green. It can provide high energy with low power. The ECP treatment is valued by the researchers.However, due to the complexity of the materials used in the past, the mechanism of the pulse current action is inconclusive.Applying pulse current on hypoeutectic Fe-C alloy.It studies the influence of Fe-C alloy by electric pulse with different parameters in eutectic temperature and liquidus temperature.The mechanism of pulse current on the Solidification of hypoeutectic Fe-C alloys was primary analyzed.After applied with pulse current in eutectic temperature,the graphite is increased,the pearlite is reduced,the interlaminar spacing of pearlite is decreased,the microhardness of pearlite is increased. When the intensity of a pulse current is largest,the pearlite is disappeared,the martensite is formed.After applied with pulse current in liquidus temperature,the graphite is increased,the ledeburite is broken and reduced.When the intensity of a pulse current is largest,the ledeburite is disappeared.The influence on the Solidification of hypoeutectic Fe-C alloys with pluse current with different parameters is studied through the single variable method.The tension of pluse current is the most influential.The frequency is the second.The pulse width is the last. When the tension of pluse current is increased,the the graphite is increased,the average size of graphite is decreased,the pearlite is reduced,the interlaminar spacing of pearlite is decreased,the microhardness of pearlite is increased. When the frequency is increased,the the graphite is increased,the average size of graphite is decreased,the pearlite is reduced,the interlaminar spacing of pearlite is decreased,the microhardness of pearlite is increased. When the pulse width is increased,,the the graphite is increased,the average size of graphite is decreased then increased.The mechanism of pulse current on the Solidification of hypoeutectic Fe-C alloys is different in different temperature.When the pulse current is applied in eutectic temperature,the nucleation rate of graphite is increased,the ccc curve is moved to the right.When the pulse current is applied in liquidus temperature,the carbor cluster is increased,the graphitization is reinforced.
