Global changes have had a major impact on landscape structure, ecologicalprocess, environmental effect and human society of the terrestrial production system.Along with the understanding of global change ecology environment effect more andmore profoundly, from the perspective of land use pattern to study the non-pointsource pollution has become one of the hot spot of the current research at home andabroad. The Southern Mountainous Area of Jinan is the source of Jinan spring groupand the recharge area of groundwater, it is also an important water source in Jinan cityof urban water consumption, due to discharging residents living water and theextensive application of pesticide and fertilizer and so on, non-point source pollutionhas become the main factors of water pollution in the Southern Mountainous Area ofJinan. Therefore, in the context of global change, researching the response ofnon-point source pollution from the Southern Mountainous Area of land use/coverchange has important practical significance to the protection of the water ofSouthern Mountainous Area, and also can provide important scientific basis for thewater environment in the mountainous regions of Southern comprehensivegovernance and regional sustainable development. This paper(Shandong Province Natural Science Fund Project(ZR2012DM0090))takes the remote-sensing images of TM, ETM+, OLR_TRIS as the data sources, andthe Southern Mountainous Area of Jinan as the study area, based on the support byremote sensing and GIS technology, analyzing the spatial and temporal characteristicsof the area of land use/land cover change, based on HSPF (Hydrological SimulationProgram--Fortran) model to accounting the pollution load of non-point sourcepollution in the Southern Mountainous Area of Jinan, and discussing the responses ofnon-point source pollution of land use/cover Change in Southern Mountainous Areaof Jinan. The main conclusions are as follows: (1)This paper took the remote-sensing images of TM, ETM+, OLR_TRIS as thedata sources, proceeded classification to the remote-sensing images of2000,2005,2010,2014in the Southern Mountainous Area of Jinan and got access to the vectordata of land-use type, and based on the Southern Mountainous Area of Jinan land use/cover characteristics to analyze the spatial and temporal variation.(2)Based on the HSPF Model, regarding the inputting the data of hydrological, meteorological and spatial geographical, adjusting the model parameters, andcalibrating and validating the simulation results as the main steps. This paperproceeded quantitative evaluation the load of non-point source pollution in theSouthern Mountainous Area of Jinan, and got pollution load of total nitrogen, totalphosphorus.(3) Based on the spatial and temporal characteristics of land use/cover changeand HSPF model results, the analysis of simulation can be obtained that it is closelyrelated to the non-point source pollution load size and land use patterns in theSouthern Mountainous Area of Jinan. In the simulation of total nitrogen, non-pointsource pollution contribution coefficient of cultivated land units is maximum. In thesimulation of total phosphorus, the units of non-point source pollution contributioncoefficient is biggest. The size of non-point source pollution load is inverselyproportional to the area which is covered by forest and grassland.(4) According to the analysis of non-point source pollution’s temporal and spatialdistribution, social and economic conditions, natural and geographical conditions aswell as fieldwork experience, we can propose the design of engineering andnon-engineering measures for arable land, construction land and the land of watersand unused land respectively and get the best management of each type of land usefinally.
