Moreover, intense attention of chemists havebeen paid to the study of planar chiral RuIIcomplexes on the field ofasymmetric catalysis. Therefore, study on the syntheses, structuresand properties of a series of metal RuIIcomplexes has been astrategic goal in our research program.The main work are as follows:1. The disubstituted compounds [5-tBu-3-furyldp] and [3-furyl-5-thienyldp] were designed and synthesized to coordinate with[Cp*RuCl]4for planar chiral RuIIsandwich complexes. And theywere all characterized by1H NMR,31P NMR, IR and XRD. The X-raycrystal structure shows that the molecule of [(5-tBu-3-furyldp)RuCp*] has a sandwich structure with two π-bonded ligands.Obviously, the oxygen atom of furan and the nitrogen atom of diazaphole were not involved in coordination. So a bidentate ligandwill be constituded to react with other metallic for synthesis moreefficiently and selectively catalysts of planar chiral.2. The High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)mehtods with planar chiral RuIIsandwich complexes weredeveloped. Several factors,such as column tempreture and thepolarity of mobile phase were investigated,all of which had effecton the analysis results. And the enantiomers of three planar chiralRuIIsandwich complexes were separated by VenusilCOchromatographic column. This was an important experimentalfoundation for the research of chiral catalysis.3. The three4,6-dia(3,5-Disubstituted-1,2,4-Diaza-pholes-1-yl)pyrimidines and two3,6-dia(3,5-Disubstituted-1,2,4-Diaza-pholes-1-yl)pyridazines were designed and synthesized to coordinate with[Cp*RuIICl] for new RuIImetal complexes.
