Ti-based amorphous alloys have good mechanical properties and stronger amorphous formation ability, also the application prospects is very broad. This topic takes Ti-based alloy as the research object, and designes Ti48Zr18V12Cu5Be17 bulk metallic glass alloy elements. Using the vacuum arc melting-copper suction casting method maked Ti48Zr18V12Cu5Be17 sample, and taking heat treatment experiments in different semi-solid temperature and different time, characterizing and analysing the sample by DSC, XRD and EDS. We analysised the microstructure of the sample through different holding time and holding temperature; and analysised the growth dynamics relationship between the size of β-Ti/ZrV2 grain and time; taked room temperature compression experiments under different heat treatment time. The major experiments conclusion are:(1) Ti48Zr18V12Cu5Be17 sample making by vacuum arc melting-copper by suction casting is amorphous substrate and metallic glass matrix composities of the crystal phase bulk. The crystal phase is BBC structure, the main phase is β-Ti and ZrV2。When the preservation temperature at 860 ℃, holding time is 10 min, the shape factor of Ti48Zr18V12Cu5Be17 sample is the largest,0.7。(2) When it through 860 ℃ isothermal heat treatment in 10 min, The grain growth index n of β-Ti/ZrV2 is 2.62, and the time more then 10 min, The grain growth index n of β-Ti/ZrV2 is 3.8. The growth kinetics model of β-Ti/ZrV2 is(3) The the plastic of Ti48Zr18V12Cu5Be17 bulk metallic glass matrix composites in cast state is 3.74%. When it through 760 ℃ isothermal heat treatment for 3 min, its shaping increased 4.50%.(4)With the prolongation of holding time, Ti48Zr18V12Cu5Be17 bulk metallic glass matrix composites tissue during semi-solid isothermal heat treatment in the process of evolution:The amorphous matrix phase meltingâ†' Dendrite arm withâ†' The bulk tissueâ†' The grain boundary partial melting separationâ†' Grain spheroidizationâ†' The crystals continue to growâ†'grain coarsening.
