Water is an essential natural resources for human survival and development. With the acceleration of industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization,how to improve the industrial, agricultural and domestic sewage treatment disposal rate and how to reduce the negative effect of water pollution to the national economy on the sustainable development are important tasks of ecological civilization construction.However,for this small towns and rural areas which is under-funded,in a low rate of sewage treatment,and has a large and distributed amount of waste water,it has important significance to study on economic and feasible process of sewage treatment which could be used in engineering practice.This paper analyzes the characteristics of domestic sewage and farmland irrigation water in rural areas,the treatment process and related cases to discuss on constructed wetland dealing with mixed sewage which concluded domestic and sewage farmland irrigation water and to study the operation effect of this treatment process.(1)Rural domestic sewage has several polluted characteristics, such as extensive, dispersive, vast, ext. Farmland irrigation sewage has several polluted characteristics, such as random, spread, difficult to monitor, varied spatial and temporal, hysteretic pollution, and potential threat, there is the two kinds of sewage in China’s rural areas at the same time. Therefore, it is necessary to two kinds of mixed sewage treatment; Compared with other sewage treatment technology, artificial wetland has some advantages of stable effluent, strong shock resistance, simple operation, low construction and operation cost, good pollutant removal effect and aesthetic value, suitable for the national conditions of our country, especially meeting the requirements of rural sewage treatment. Analysing the domestic and international successful artificial wetland technology applicated in domestic sewage, agricultural point source and non-point source pollution, eutrophicated water treatment and other sewage treatment, it shows that the artificial wetland treating rural domestic sewage and farmland irrigation sewage has innovation and feasibility.(2)Based on the analysis of the causes of water pollution, water quality in Youzhou Park, according to the water quantity and quality requirements, determining to use surface flow-subsurface flow-surface flow constructed wetland composite mode to treat domestic sewage and farmland irrigation sewage. The scale of engineering construction:Sewage water and farmland irrigation sewage mixing amount 1500 m3/d, The total area:1500 m2; water quality:domestic sewage COD:180.01 mg/L、TP:5.96mg/Ls TN:65.09 mg/L、NH3-N:42.51mg/L, farmland irrigation sewage COD:50.08 mg/L, TP:2.63 mg/L、TN:25.09 mg/Ls NH3-N:20.65mg/L; effluent quality reached he GB 18918-2002 Discharge standard of pollutants for municipal wastewater treatmentplant,the A in first grade standard.(3)To analyze ingredient and flow of raw wastewater, plant growing condition, nitrogen and phosphorus content in plant and rhizosphere microbe.The results showed that The COD, TP, TN, NH3-N contents in effluent were 40.56mg/L,0.55mg/L,10.55mg/L,5.55mg/L.Up to the GB 18918-2002 Discharge standard of pollutants for municipal wastewater treatmentplant,the A in first grade standard.In this system, plants grow well with developed root system and rhizosphere microbe,in addition,its landscape effect is good,too.
