With the rapid development of the whole 3 d MBD technology, the urgent need to change the current nc machining is not high degree of automation, set the cumbersome and inefficient, and the status of the existing processing knowledge has also failed to use, so as to realize the true sense of the whole 3 d CAD/CAPP/CAM integration model of product development.This paper discussed in detail based on the MBD manufacturing characteristics of three dimensional numerical control technology research background, research status and development trend at home and abroad, the research significance as well as about MBD manufacturing characteristics of three dimensional numerical control technology related introduction.Secondly focuses on UG software in CAD module with CAM module integration technology. Detailed study of the characteristics of UG 6.0 under the basic method of automatic extraction, research and development groove class feature extraction module, automatically groove parts feature information for selection, call and machining of the CAM template, background database by Microsoft Office Access, rely on technological parameters automatically transfer required process knowledge database information, thus to realize the automatic generation of nc program.Finally complete the implementation of the three-dimensional numerical control technology based on MBD manufacturing feature the hole groove parts of nc machining process, the design personnel rescued from repeated operation work, and improve the production efficiency, reduce the error brought by man-made factors and shortening the time of the generation of nc program effectively. Not only to improve the quality of numerical control programming, to realize the seamless integration of CAD/CAM.
