Nano-titanium dioxide as a kind of functional material, has a series of excellent properties. As a catalyst, it has caused concern by more and more people, duo to that the presence crystal defects provide the conditions for the presence of oxygen vacancies in the titanium dioxide. In this paper, the catalytic performance that nano-titanium dioxide prepared by sol-gel and hygel template and titanium dioxide microspheres made by microfludic loaded copper oxide have been compared.Gels with different synthesis ratio have been prepared by orthogonal experiment, and the hydrolysis inhibitor is the main factor that affect the hydrolysis of tetrabutyl titanate has been found. It need more time to gel when use arcylic acid as hydrolysis inhibitor, but induces smaller grain diameter; The addition of inhibitor delays phase transformation and inhibits grain growing up.Nano-titanium dioxide has been prepared by hydrogel template. In the process of preparation, it effectively inhibits the hydrolysis of tetrabutyl tinate. Before hydrogel absorb water, there is not or only a small amount of tetrabutyl titanate has hydrolyzed.The factors affecting the stability of microfluidic precursor solution - acrylamide, the dosage of nitrate to join in and water addition have been discussed. The precursor solution of polyethylene glycol/polyacrylic acid has been selected to synthese microspheres. The microsopheres have uniform size and good sphericity, but microsphere surface is rough after calcining. XRD analysis shows that the grain size of TiO2 microspheres is 10 nm, the crystal phase is anatase phase.The activity of anatase that catalytic oxidation of carbon monoxide has been measured. It has been found that anatase phase has catalytic activity but it is not high. The catalyst loaded copper oxide has been prepared and the catalytic activity has been compared with each other.
