The precisionis the most important technical evaluation to CNC machine will determine the quality of the processed products. There is a variety of machine precision evaluation methods used to test the accuracy of machine, and piecescut test is the most commonly used method. Given the lack of precision to detect existing specimen axis CNC machine tools, AVIC Chengdu Aircraft Industrial( Group) Company invented a "S" shape detection test pieces. The specimen has a twist angle, open and close angle, thin walls, curvature discontinuities and other features, can better detect dynamic precision of five-axis machines, and has got recognition in domestic and abroad.Given the importance of the "S" method on dynamic accuracy detection, and in order to further promote itswidely application, extend the object and scope of this method, promote it as an international industry standard. There are lots of factors affecting the machining accuracy, in order to make the test results of "S" pieces have better focus, and clearly reflects the condition of dynamic precision machine, further, increaseits operability and comparability,the impact of modeling methods, CNC programming, machining parameters such as non-dynamic factorsmust be excluded as much as possible. In this paper, from this point of view, in order to ensure uniqueness and cure process parameters and other aspects of "S" shape pieces, the analysis and research are conducted as follows:1. For "S" pieces, proceed mathematical analysis to calculate the ruled surface’s opening and closing angle, twist angle, curvature and other geometric characteristics.To provethe correlation between "S" pieces’ machine precision detection andits geometric characteristics.Analyzing the error of "S" piecesin different parts of three-dimension modeling software, to clarify modeling software tools and methods had no effect on the test results.2. Madeprocess planning of "S" pieces, develop manufacturing processes card. CNC programming is used to get "S" pieces toolpath file. Derivation double swing axis CNC machine post-processing algorithms-construct post processor, export "S" rear parts processing program. VERICUT-based environment, the NC program-build a common platform of virtual machining simulation, virtual simulation machining "S" pieces. The model experiment was VMC25100 u vertical milling axis machining center, the error and surface roughness, verify "S" pieces NC program and the measurement accuracy of the simulation platform "S" parts processing method, and to study the "S"-piece surface error processing, analysis and visualization techniques.3. Using virtual machining simulation platform to study the effects of four different programming algorithm on "S"-shaped specimen’s processing theory. Using Finite element analysis software-ANSYS study the effect of four different parts of the deformation and stress clamping scheme changes. Experimental study of orthogonal design cutting depth, feed rate and other effects of process parameters on the "S" parts processing theory errors, provide technical support for choosing the right combination of processing parameters.
