As a new kind of material, Microporous material is widely used in areas of construction, information, appliance, traffic, because of its good performance like:low density, heat insulation, sound absorption, buffering, etc. As one of the five general plastic, PVC has a large market, and with the wide application of PVC foaming material in soft products such as:leather, sole, thin film, etc, the preparation of high performance PVC foaming material has been a research focus now. To get a PVC foaming preparation with good cell morphology and mechanical properties, this article researches the factors that effect micromorphology and mechanical property in PVC foaming preparation by the batch foaming process and the equipment.1.By using single factor method, this article researches how the factors such as:saturated temperature saturated pressure, saturated time, foaming temperature, foaming time in the batch foaming method influence the PVC/SCCO2 foaming material’s micromorphology and mechanical property. Enhancing the saturated pressure, temperature can get higher cell density and smaller cell diameter. The higher the foaming temperature is, the larger the cell nucleation rate will be, also, with a bigger cell density, its mechanical property will be better than before. When saturation pressure was 11 MPa, saturation temperature was 39 ℃, saturation time was 4 hours, foaming temperature was 94 ℃ and foaming time was 10 s, microscopic and mechanical properties of PVC foamed material was the best.2. Supercritical CO2 high pressure permeability kettle, which is the most important equipment by using batch foaming method to prepare microporous material. In order to solve the problem that the polymer can not be foamed uniformly along the kettle height direction, this article modified the structure of the high pressure permeability kettle, then the SCCO2 can fluently flow in the kettle. Using the finite element analysis software FLUENT can numerically simulate the SCCO2 flow field in the kettle, optimizes the distribution of fluid inlet and out let, and then makes innovative design of the high pressure permeability kettle structure.
