In this paper the monolithic zeolite catalysts were prepared in cordierite and foam ceramic by using the novel method of growing zeolite on a monolithic support. And a few of factors including time, temperature, amount of water were considered in preparation of monolithic zeolite catalyst. We also discussed the pretreatment and pore size of cordierite that have the important influence in preparation of monolithic zeolite catalyst.A series of different concentration of metal ions of monolithic Beta-zeolite catalyst were modified by the Fe, Co, Cu ions through the liquid ion exchange method. They were applied to the catalytic decomposition of N2O investigating the difference in the activity of the monolithic catalysts. Besides by comparing between in-situ synthesis and common coating we found that our method won out over the conservative method in the activity of the catalyst because of out of binder. At last a stability test was done in our monolithic zeolite catalyst. As a result the catalyst can maintain the good activity under the existence of impurity gas (NC、CO、SO2) and long term reaction through 80 hours The phenomenon of catalyst deactivation didn’t appear. It turned out that our monolithic zeolite catalyst has an excellent stability.
