Pd-Ni and Pd-Cu alloy film anti-corrosion ability was increased by adding rare earth salt into the plating solution. Scanning electronic microscopy, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Energy Dispersive Spectromete were used to character the morphology and composition of the alloy film. Corrosion behaviors and the electrochemical properties of Pd-Ni and Pd-Cu were studied. The throwing power and cathodic polarization of the solution were analyzed. The Pd-Cu and Pd-Ni alloy film with rare salt earth showed higher hardness and bonding strength and less micropore. The crystallite size decreased with the rare earth salt adding. The throwing power and cathodic polarization increased by the rare earth salt. The morphology of the film became more homogeneous and the composition have not changed muchThe process of electroplating was analyzed to recycle the solution. If the pH was under 8.2 and the concentration was under 10.990g·L-1, the Pd film would lose the protection ability for the 316L stainless steel. The properties of solution was recycled by recoverying the parameter.
