Mesoporous SBA-15 is a silica material which containes abundant silanot groups,in this study, SBA-15 surface modification was prepared by nine different groups, and obtained nine kinds of catalysts accordingly, which then applied in Wacker reaction.Organosilanes,i.e.,3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane,y-mercaptopropyltriethoxysilane,and [3-(2-atninoethylamino)propyl] trimethoxysilane were linked onto SBA-15,and further connecting with ortho, meta, and para-pyridine chloride respectively, followed by strong coordination with transition metal Palladium.Details of the supported catalysts analysis by FT-IR,TG,UV-Vis,BET,SEM,XRF are presented. Nine kinds of catalysts were prepared for the reaction of the oxidation of cyclopentene to cyclopentanone. After several times recycling use, it is investigated that the catalyst 2 shows the best catalytic properties. The catalyst 2 is selected to optimize the process of the oxidation of cyclopentene, And the optimal reaction conditions are cyclopentene that is 1000:1 of palladium (molar ratio) ,1:3 of palladium:copper(molar ratio),12:1 of solvent of ethanol:water(molar ratio),reaction temperature:50℃ reaction time:6h, oxygen pressure:0.7Mpa. Under the optimal reaction conditions, the conversion of cyclopenteneis 96.24%, the yield of cyclopentanone is 76.1%.
