Anti-friction wear-resisting materials are widely used metal bearings, worm and other sliding friction. This paper was prepared by vacuum melting method of high manganese aluminum bronze alloy, using an optical microscope, scanning electron microscope, micro-hardness, friction and wear test machine, scanner and other 3D shape contour scanner analysis and testing methods to study the high-manganese aluminum bronze friction and wear properties of alloy microstructure, hardness and different working conditions. Get the following conclusions:(1)Aluminum content on the microstructure and properties of manganese aluminum bronze has a significant impact. An aluminum content of 4%, the alloy by a small amount ɑ-Cu + K phases; when the aluminum content of 6 ~ 8%, the alloy by the α-Cu + β phase solid solution, when the aluminum content is higher than 8%, alloy single-phase solid solution of β organizations; manganese aluminum bronze microhardness with increasing aluminum content significantly increased.(2)β-phase structure of manganese aluminum bronze than α-Cu single phase and ɑ+β phase manganese aluminum bronze organization has good mechanical properties and tribological properties. Where β phase containing silicon manganese aluminum bronze, under dry friction and wear low to 4.45E-15 m3/(m·N); wear rate under oil lubrication conditions low to2.89E-19 m3/(m·N);then under high temperature at 300 ℃conditions for a wear rate 4.31E-14 m3/(m·N).(3)In the test composition range, with increasing Mn content, the manganese solid solubility in the alloy increases, hardness increase, less silicon element added, the alloy produced between Mn2 Si metal compound, microhardness significantly increased. β-phase silicon manganese-containing aluminum bronze exhibit low friction coefficient and high wear resistance.(4)Comparative study of friction and wear properties babbitt, phosphor bronze. The results showed that: β tissue manganese aluminum bronze alloy under dry friction, oil lubrication, high temperature, corrosion, high and low load and speed conditions, etc. have good mechanical and tribological properties. Under dry friction, β tissue manganese aluminum bronze alloy wear mechanism is abrasive wear. Phosphor bronze wear mechanism for joint action mechanism of wear adhesive wear and abrasive. Babbit since the base is relatively soft, plastic shear friction takes place the formation of large cracks and flaking debris. Wherein the silicon-containing β structure of the high manganese aluminum bronze alloy under different conditions have a high stability, anti-friction and wear resistance far superior to phosphor bronze, babbitt.
