The cationic dye is also known as the alkaline dye, which is freely soluble in water, and will generate colored quaternary ammonium cationic after ionizing in aqueous solution. Printing and dyeing wastewater of the cationic dye shows many characteristic: complicated component, wide varieties, high concentration of COD, high content of salt, low range of pH, high concentration of organic matter, high colority and poor biodegradability. This paper uses haterogeneous Fenton to remove the printing and dyeing wastewater, which is simulated by three kinds of cationic dye of methylthionine chloride, crystal violet and malachite green, further, and investigates the removal effect of the synergy of light and haterogeneous Fenton agent.Firstly, the paper respectively selects Ls-5000 chelating resin, D001 ion exchange resin, Na-Y molecular sieve and 4A molecular sieve as catalyst support, the Fe(II)-Ls-5000 chelating resin, Fe(II)-D001 ion exchange resin, Fe(II)-Na-Y molecular sieve and Fe(II)-4 A molecular sieve are prepared by the method of dipping oscillation. Then, the paper tests the removal performance of heterogeneous Fenton on the analogue dye wastewater, the results show that heterogeneous Fenton reagent exhibits fine oxidation removal. Finally, the paper makes a contrast of oxidation removal and simple physical adsorption, the result shows that the performance of former is better than latter. With the method of single factor, the influence of dosage of iron materials, the volume of H2O2, initial concentration, pH value and light power on the removal effects of analogue dye wastewater are investigated, the results show that there is different effect of each factor, while, the lager effect on the removal of the printing and dyeing wastewater is dosage of iron materials and initial concentration, hence, it is important for us to select the appropriate amount of iron material and to control the initial concentration of printing and dyeing wastewater in the actual work. The factors of the dosage of iron materials, light power, the volume of H2O2 are the important influence on the rate of removal from the the results of single factor experiment, in order to determine the optimal conditions of removal, these four factors will take three different level of the orthogonal experiment to study the removal effect of hetero geneous Fenton reagent.By adjusting initial concentration and the flow rate for studying the effect of heterogeneous Fenton reagent on the removal rate of dye solution, and under the same flow rate with the comparision of H2O2 and without H2O2 to investigate the influence of velocity on the removal rate of dye solution. The results show that it is obvious effect of the velocity on the removal of cationic dyes, hence, in the actual engineering operation, it is very important to control the flow rate, and the removal rate of H2O2 is greater than the removal rate without the H2O2.The paper makes a discussion of the preliminary removal mechanism of cationic dyes, including physical adsorption, chemical adsorption and the degradation of heterogeneous Fenton reagent.
