Downhole wet dust collector is a kind of high effective dust equipment. Because of the inside flow field of the dust collector is very complex, so it reached by the experience of the researcher, this method of work makes some design parameters are unreasonable. Ultimately, a number of problems have cropped. For example the inside flow of the dust collector is unbalanced, whirlpool, flow gaging and so on. If we use the software of FLUENT to research the inside flow field of the dust collector, it can provide us all the information about the internal flow field. So we can reseach all kinds of factors which influent the dust collector.Through researching on the structure and the operational principle of the dust collector, we find that the filter and the louver type dehydrator are the key parts of the dust collector, and the distribution of the inside flow field can influence the efficiency of dust collection. The results show that the inside flow field of the dust collector is very complex. There are some eddy and recirculation zones in the passageway of louver type dehydrator. Turbulance is exist at the sides of filter. Take the trajectory path of dust particles with spray compare with the trajectory path of dust particles without spray, we can find that this dust collector has a palable effect on dust collection. After that, we can research the process of the filter by mathematical means, and make the filter better. We also find that we can increase the thickness of the filter and use the stainless steel fibers with high filling rate to improve the efficiency of dust collection.Paper use FLUENT to do the numeral simulation analysis, and combined with study and explore, we find that downhole wet dust collector has many advantages. It provide the conduct orientation for the spread and design of the downhole wet dust collector, and has positive effects on expand the theory and the advances in dust collection skill.
