Screwextrusion technology has played a decisive role position in rubber, plastics, food processing and explosives manufacturing and other fie lds. In recent years, the application of the twin-screw extruder in the field of high-viscoelastic materials is one of the hot topics in the field of polymer. This thes is focuses on the application of twin-screw in the extrusion of single base propellants. In this paper, we use similar material of single base propellantsin viscosity and thermal properties in extrusion experiment, test to determine similar material’s constitutive equation. Designed nine groups of screw configuration, Calculated different configurations of every screw propellant extrusion process using one-dimensional calculation software. Analyzed plasticizing degree, temperature distribution, shearstress distribution, residence time, dissipated energy ratioand explored the safety and high efficiency of single-base propella ntextrusion process.The powder coating process can improve the ballis tic performance of the propellant, reduce the temperature coefficient and improve ballisticve locity. The coating technology is to design a fluid passage to make the surface of the inner core propellant coated with another material called coated layer. This study aimed at injection molding through the mold outside the core propellant. In the injection molding process, the heat flux, the heat diffusion of the coating layer, and the viscous heat generated by the flow process can raise the temperature of the coating layer, and may detonate the central powder. So this study on the powder injection molding process of die CAE flows imulation, on the basis of safety, included the high quality standard selection and optimization of the process, and put forward the suggestions to improve the process.
