Nitrogen pollution is one of the main factors causing rivers, lakes and other water eutrophication, and ammonia is an important component of the nitrogen pollution in aquatic environments. Biological methods are widely used and efficient ways to control aquatic nitrogen pollution, wherein the microorganism is a major player in the ammonia pollution treatment. In this study, the ammonia concentration in 2 ~ 20 mg·L-1 of samples from farmed fish pond water and sediment, Xunsi river water, paddy soil and sewage treatment plant water were taken for ammonia removing bacteria enrichment and isolation. Two methods were used for bacteria isolation: one is the streak plate method, and the other is dilution method. 51 strains were isolated through streaking in the ammonia concentration of 1.4 mg·L-1, 5.6 mg·L-1, 14 mg·L-1 broth in ammonia removal ability of bacteria to be filtered. Mediums with ammonia concentration of 5.6 mg·L-1and14 mg·L-1 were used for dilution method. 28 strains and 19 strains were isolated according to different ammonia concentrations. The ammonia removal efficiency of bacterial isolations ammonia removal filter, ammonia concentration in the medium used in the screening process were 5.6 mg·L-1, 14 mg·L-1. Using the salicylic acid method to detect bacteria removing ammonia effects and automatic colorimetric assay accumulated of the nitrite and the nitrate. Through screening and secondary screening obtained two strains of ammonia relatively strong and stable bacteria O10 and SD2: Inoculum case of 107 cell?m L-1, in flask culture system, the two strains at 24 h ammonia removal effects were about 45.7% and 56.8%. O10 and SD2 bacteria were carried out morphology and 16 S r DNA sequencing. The sequencing results were compared with the NCBI database, compared to the results showed the strain of Delft O10 Pseudomonas bacteria; Pseudomonas strain SD2 is ammonia-oxidizing bacteria of the genus.Under laboratory conditions, the study of strain O10 approachs to the removal of ammonia nitrogen in the medium, the results showed that the bacterial nitrification of ammonia nitrogen role of predominant proportion(41%), followed by adsorption(32%); Also taking Xunsi water samples studied Patrol Division bacteria O10 and SD2 for ammonia removal, the results showed that: at 28 ℃, the bacterial inoculation of 107 cell?m L-1 and the amount of aeration is maintained at 2 ~ 4 mg·L-1 under the conditions of 48 h bacterial removal of ammonia nitrogen in water samples effects reached 84.3% and 87.7%; The two strains of bacterial removal efficiency of ammonia, there is no significant difference.
