As building materials, insulating glass is a kind of energy efficient products for thermal insulation and energy consumption reduction, which has been widely used in the construction industry all over the world. At present, the domestic small and medium enterprises mostly adopt the artificial gluing technology to produce the insulating glass. Not only because the large scale automatic gluing equipments newly developed for insulating glasses are highly expensive, but also the crawling phenomenon appearing in the process of gluing will bring about the unstable of the control system. Therefore, it is necessary to research and develop the small scale automatic machines to glue the insulating glasses. In addition, the equipments should meet the process need of some small and medium insulating glass production enterprises as well as have reasonable structures, smooth gluing and high degree automation. It will have the great theoretical significance and application value to accelerate the development and improve the automated processing level for the domestic insulating glass industry.This thesis aims at manufacturing cost of the practical demand, abandoning the large vertical structure of the traditional automatic insulating glass gluing equipments used. Instead, it designs the small scale automatic insulating glass gluing equipment with a horizontal gantry structure so that the motor shafts are reduced from 12 to 7. Moreover, it also makes use of the virtual prototyping technology and 3D modeling software to set up the components’ three dimensional model and machine assembly model, shorten the tested development process and reduce the equipments’ production cost of the insulating glass gluing machine. During the use of the equipments developed, some problems of the vibration on the rack starting and the crawling phenomenon of moving parts appearing in the process of gluing along the X axis direction will occur. Crawling phenomenon is decreased by means of building the physical and dynamic stick slip model of the moving parts and the different from previous boundary conditions for the beginning of the moving parts are set; getting the a exact solution suit for the practical situation; analyzing the main influence factors; and provided the measures to improve transmission stiffness, reduce the difference between the static and dynamic friction coefficient, decline the mass and increase the speed of the moving component. Besides, it has adapted the open CNC system scheme with “PC + motion controller” structure. And it has constructed a CNC system using CPAC motion control as the platform, taking GUC-800-TPG motion controller as the core, and taking AC servo motor as the driving element. The automatic insulating glass glue equipment control system software design was developed by Otostudio programming software. The visual interface of control system was developed and debugging.The debugging results show that the equipments researched could have the reasonable structures, smooth gluing process and surface, accurate the head of gluing position, which achieve the expected target and meet the actual demand of the automated production of insulating glass in the overall functionality and control capabilities, being of great value for great engineering application.
