Inductively coupled plasma(ICP) atomic emission spectrometry, with features of highprecision, low detection limit, rapid and simultaneous analysis of multi-elements and other advantages, has been widely used in the analysis of material composition and content. The main purpose of this paper is to study how to pre-treatment aqueous solution by physical methods, improve the physical properties of the solution, reduce the surface tension and viscosity, increase the atomizing efficiency of the spray solution sample, and enhance the spectral line intensity.1: To change the physical properties of aqueous solution, laser irradiation at wavelength of 976 nm and 10.6um with optimized power density and irradiation time were used to process aqueous solution. Treated aqueous solution under different processing conditions were introduced into the ICP to analysis the atomization efficiency and spectral line intensity. To analysis the enhancement mechanism of the spectral lines, measured the excitation temperature and electron density respectively.2: The effect of double beam laser at wavelength of 976 nm with 0.2657 W·cm-2, 10.6um with 0.2069 W·cm-2 and irradiated aqueous solution for 40 min orthogonally have been studied. The surface tension and viscosity of the aqueous solution treated were decreased by 42.13% and 14.03% than the untreated solution respectively, nebulization efficiency increased by 51.26%. To analysis the enhancement of the spectral line intensity and signal-to-background ratio measured the parameters of the plasma source further.3: Measure the different rotation speed, time and the volume of solution to determine the optimal conditions of the magnetic stirring(rotation) method. Under the optimized speed of 1197r/min, processed for 10 min with 30 m L conditions: the spectral line intensity ratio and signal-to-background ratio of As188.980 nm, Cd 214.439 nm, Cr 267.716 nm, Cu 324.754 nm, Hg 253.652 nm and Pb 220.353 nm enhanced in different degrees.4: Treat aqueous solution by magnetic stirring combined with 976 nm laser irradiation simultaneously. The optimal speed of the interaction, the laser power density and the effect time were measured through the experiment. Under the conditions of 1197r/ min, 0.2276 W·cm-2 and 15 min, the spectral line intensity enhanced significantly.
