Under China’s current situation, as the largest proportion of primary energy use, mining and using of coal are still a waste of resources, have security issues, environmental pollution and other issues.The use of underground coal gasification technology is an effective technique to solve these problems.Underground coal gasification industry test has been successful, but the industrial needs to be improved a verification of improvements. By analysis on underground coal gasification technology now-depth,thesis compare the application prospect of underground coal gasification; obtain better application scheme. Then investigate Underground coal gasification gas power generation and compared the prerequisite of each power generation applications, get better power application scheme under the present conditions.Analyse technical and economic of Gansu Huating industrial test according to it’sdata under different conditions gasification, to provide the basis for the future development of underground coal gasification.(1) Underground coal gasification is a method by chemical methods to change solid coal into gas. Component and the calorific value of gas produced will greatly change according to changes in the production process. Research shows that underground coal gasification gas primarily in the low calorific value gas-based, so the application of gas produced is limited. Under current conditions, we can use the gas to produce ammonia, methanol, oil, natural gas and power generation. Through investigation and analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of each application program to determine the current status quo in the case facing the industry to use its power is a more viable option.(2) the use of underground coal gasification power generation, there are three main ways: gas engines for power generation, gas-steam combined cycle power generation and fuel cell power generation. After analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of each power generation,determined the use of gas engines issuitable for small-scale underground gasification power generationin the current circumstances. Gas- steam combined cycle power generation for underground coal gasification synthesis gas is suitable for large-scale gasification power station. Fuel cell power generation technology is not suitable for UCG syngas. But in the future there is a certain prospect.(3) On the basis of Huating underground coal gasification industrial test, analyse the economic effects of underground coal gasification technology by using technology econometric methods. Research shows that the project has a certain profitability and ability to resist risks. And in contrast to the enriched vapor steam continuous process,continuous process of airhavebetter economy. The sensitivity analysis showed that changes in the price of the underground coal gasification power generation will have a greater impact. Underground coal gasification technology has many advantages, promote their industrialization is the main task. But the country also needs to be given attention and policy support.This dissertation has 22 figures, 23 tables, and 97 regerences.
