High-speed motorized spindle is one core factor of the modern high speed machining technology. It is widely used in high performance machine tool. As one of the important parameters of motors, motor speed is needed to be measured in most systems. The precision of velocity measurement will directly affect the control precision. Speed measurement for high-speed motorized spindle can help to improve the control precision and product quality of motorized spindle.According to the requirement of the subject, this paper applied two kinds of magnetic sensitive sensor to measure the high and low speed of motorized spindle. And the scheme for measurement of high and low rotation speed and rotation angle at low speed was designed. The measurement of high and low rotation speed is based on three-stage differential magnetic resistance sensor, the measurement of rotation speed and angle under tapping processing is based on the magnetic induction type encoder LENORD+BAUER. They are both magnetic sensitive sensors. Spectrum analysis and settled sampling period M/T method was applied.This paper used Lab VIEW as the development platform, designed a speed measuring program based on spectrum analysis and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of this algorithm. In order to realize the functions of filter frequency selective, waveform conversion and A/D isolation, this paper designed the signal processing circuit which was used to convert the analog signal the digital signal that the DSP can recognize. Software program applying settled sampling period M/T method was written. And serial port communication function was realized.Finally, this paper completed the design for the whole hardware and the software design, also conducted the simulation for the speed measuring module using the Multisim simulation software. This paper used the motorized spindle for field measurement. Compared with the data of standard speed device, it is verified that the speed measuring module developed by this thesis is qualified for the expected requirements of the enterprise.
