In the context of strong commonality in composite materials,carbon fiber composite is focused due to its superior mechanical properties. With the development of further research and wider range of applications, the improvement and optimization of its electromagnetism and thermodynamic properties is urgent. In this paper, through understanding and making carbon fiber composite, the factors influencing optical properties were analyzed. A method was designed to study material property in the Lab.In this paper, the relationship of optical constant of the carbon fiber composite was studied. Because of the interference and energy level transition of molecule and atom, there are some relationships among optical constant, such as kramers-kronig relation, Fresnel relation. There are some other relationships controlled by different types of materials named dispersion model. This paper extended the Kramers-Kronig relation and Fresnel relation combined other relations controlled by micro-properties of different materials to methods to calculate optical constant. There is not always unique solution by the model made by dispersion model and kramers-kronig relation. So some mathematical methods were introduced to solve the problem. Before using them to solve problems, the model made by the mathematical method and physical model was used to calculate other data in some to validate the right of these methods.After that, some materials were designed, which have different types of carbon fiber composite in thickness, structure, matrix and so on, to research different influence of factors on the optical constant of materials. Finally, the law of influence of different factors and some shortage were summarized in this research. Some conclusions are as follows, that the carbon fiber fabric is a kind of translucent visible porous medium; Weave structure and different angles can affect the optical property of materials; Epoxy resin is matrix material, whose absorption properties can make carbon fiber samples lower compared to the optical constants of carbon fiber cloth.
