Ce O2 is a kind of very significant rare earth oxide, the valence change between Ce3+ and Ce4+ in Ce O2 nanomaterial provide it a number of excellent performance, make it widely be used in catalyst material, fluorescent material,medical detection and gas sensor. To enhance its performance, we use Ce O2 composite with other material to realize a novel performance. In this article, we dope Ce O2 with graphene and Ce PO4, for obtain a different morphology and struture with different Ce4+/Ce3+ ratio. The change will raise the fluorescence and catalytic properties of material. The concrete research content is as follows:For the first time, a novel Ce O2/r GO nanocomposite was successfully synthesized by one step hydrothermal method. We found that r GO play a crucial role in the process of electro-catalysis. It is able to control the degree of reduction of graphene oxide under the condition of different alkali concentration,the presence of graphene provides a excellent support for Ce O2 nano material,and promote the Ce O2 nanoparticles dispersed homogeneously. On the contract,the Ce O2 nanoparticles in graphene layer films can also inhibit the graphene interlayer spacing, the study found that the Ce3+concentration increased significantly in Ce O2 nano material after load with the graphene. And graphene excellent electrical conductivity able to improve the catalytic performance of materials. In this experiment we use Na OH control the p H of the slove.Study found that the OH-ions priority react with Ce3+, at a relatively low concentration of alkali, OH- is not enough to reduct the graphene oxide, at this situation,the graphene will not prescent in the product, but during the process of reaction, the graphene oxidation act as a precursor and play a crucial role during the nucleation process of Ce O2. It is helpful to generate high crystallinity, well dispersibility product with uniform particles after adding oxidized graphene, and make the Ce O2 nano material has stronger fluorescence emission intensity.The fluorescent properties of Ce O2 is the main base on the morphology and structure of nano material and the ratio of Ce3+/Ce4+. So we sythsized a new kind of nanocomposite with Ce O2 and Ce PO4. By adjusting the proportion of Ce PO4 and Ce O2 to obtain different Ce3+/Ce4+proportion nano material. The study found that the time of hydrothermal、the ratio of Ce O2 and Ce PO4 and the surfactant all will affect the structure morphology and fluorescence properties of the product.This paper got through a series of experiments finally find the optimum synthesis conditions of Ce O2/ Ce PO4 composite material.
