Researchers have got aware of photochromic fluorescent polymer used in the preparation of fluorescent switching devices. Photochromic diarylethene polymers may meet the requirements in many practical applications because of their excellent fatigue resistance and thermal stability. In this article, some new photoswitchcable fluorescent polymer based diarylethene were designed and synthesized. The main contents and conclusions are as follows:1. A new photoswitchable fluorescent polymer with bisthienylethene and D--A pyran-based fluorescent dye was successfully designed and synthesized by free radical polymerization. The quenching of luminescence can be regulated in this supramolecular complex by reversibly varying the ratio of BTE monomer and DPC fluorophore. The photochromic behaviors of these copolymers in solution and solid film were investigated. These copolymers are proposed for the application of erasable optical information storage and retrieval.2. A new photoswitchable fluorescent polymer with bisthienylethene and naphthalimide-based fluorescent dye was successfully designed and synthesized by a simple method. The photochromic behaviors of this copolymer were investigated. The fluorescence intensity can be tuned by alternating the irradiation of ultraviolet and visible light. Thus, several fluorescent switching were developed.3. A novel polymeric nanoparticles based on methylated--cyclodextrin(RAMEB) with reversibly photoswitchable fluorescence properties were synthesized in water. The photochromic behaviors of those nanoparticles were investigated. Also, the morphology of nanoparticles was characterized. In the irradiation of UV-visible light, these novel photoswitchable fluorescent polymeric nanoparticles exhibit good photoreversibility. This class of nanoparticles may find new applications in biological labeling and cellula imaging. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | photochromism, diarylethene, copolymer, fluorescence switching, nanoparticle | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
