Bombax malabaricum DC, also known as Panzhihua, hero flowers, Banzhi flowers, the kapok tree species flower, plants thermophilic, is endemic plants of the South. Bombax malabaricum DC is multi distributed in Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Taiwan, Hainan, which is the city flower of Guangzhou City. Kapok flower is as the main raw material of traditional Guangdong herbal tea, whose consumption has a long history of high value food and medicine. This thesis Kapok ultrasonic extraction technology of flavonoids, and the product of the process of extracting the most antioxidant and antibacterial effects were analyzed, The main conclusions were as follows:(1) Response surface optimization combined single factor,The optimum parameters of ultrasonic assisted ethanol extraction of total Kapok Flower flavonoids:Ethanol concentration of 41%, solid-liquid ratio of 1:31, ultrasonic power is 470W, Under this condition, do the verification test, the result Kapok Flower extraction rate of 4.35% of total flavonoids.(2) Through Kapok flower extract and oxidation resistance of the contrast experiment of Vc, Kapok flower extract could be found with the DPPH free radical clearance rate of super oxide anion radical, hydroxyl free radical clearance, clearance rate, total reducing power to present the good positive correlation. While Vc of the above-mentioned indexes were higher than that of Kapok flower extract. That with the increase of concentration, Vc and Kapok flower extract was increasing.(3) Kapok flower flavonoids on staphylococcus aureus, salmonella, escherichia coli, pseudomonas and bacillus subtilis had obvious inhibitory effect, and inhibition of various bacteria strength was:salmonella> staphylococcus aureus> bacillus subtilis> bacterium e. coli. The minimal inhibitory concentrations to staphylococcus aureus was higher than the minimal inhibitory concentrations of salmonella, respectively was 1 mg/mL and 0.5 mg/mL; And the minimal inhibitory concentrations of pseudomonas was less than the minimum of e. coli and bacillus subtilis antibacterial concentrations, respectively was 2 mg/ml and 4 mg/ml.
