The heating furnace is one of the most important equipment in steel rolling industry, its control objective is to obtain satisfying rolling required the billet temperature distribution under the premise of economic indicators to achieve the billet surface burning and minimum energy consumption. The automation level and the control method of heating furnace directly affects the energy consumption and burning loss rate, scrap rate, yield, quality index. Therefore, the use of automation control of advanced technology and equipment, to carry out heating furnace temperature control method research for improving the heating efficiency of the heating furnace, saving energy and reducing consumption, has the vital significance to reduce pollution.The heating process is a big lag, multi variable, strong coupling, large inertia,linear features of complex industrial object, and the temperature distribution is difficult to measure, many disturbance factors outside, leading to the traditional control method is difficult to achieve good control effect. In this paper, according to the actual characteristics of the heating furnace, do the following: 1, to the heating furnace for the study and control object, on the heating furnace heat temperature using WINCC do the temperature setting and matching picture for temperature ultra difference phenomenon, timely alarm, convenient for operator to quickly respond and can intervene manually in the temperature anomaly. 2, using PID regulator combines segmentation method of control, the temperature rises and the temperature drop of each divided into 4 stages, the regulation has not reached the temperature of the heating requirements of direct intervention in the PID program, a given output given instead, early prevention of PID regulating adverse effects caused by lag, then the temperature difference is divided into 4 different the control stage, according to the temperature differences, given to make a given output valve, combined with the burning of actual condition, again according to the temperature difference to continue to adjust the valve opening to do, until the temperature control requirements when the valve opening to maintain, Through the above to realize the heating furnace automatic combustion control. 3, the use of heating furnace burning experience combined with SIEMENS PLC debugging method for mutual set, through a lot of practice to verify the control method and the feasibility of temperature control, and realize the automatic control of temperature.The PID binding fragment of controller convergence characteristics of a good, fast after the actual debugging, not only realizes the automatic control of heating furnace heat temperature, but also greatly reduces the work intensity of post industry heating furnace, greatly improves the temperature of the heating furnace automation control degree, provides valuable experience for laterother automatic control of heating furnace temperature.
