With the development of lightweight delivery, aluminum is becoming wide range of applications, its connection problem is especially welding has been widely appreciated.One common method is aluminum brazed, Al-Si solder due to good wettability, liquidity, brazed joints corrosion resistance and workability, it is one of the most widely used aluminum brazed material. However, because of its high melting point(liquidus temperature 577 ℃), when brazing lower melting point solder alloy, it easy to grow crystal grains of the base material and corrosion. Studies have shown that the addition of Cu element can significantly reduce the Al-Si material melting point, and the fluidity of the solder significantly. Through the study of Al-Si-Cu alloy,to develop a newalloy of AlSiCu10-10, can be reduced the melting point to 522 ~ 565 ℃, more conducive brazed alloys.As a new flux cored wire welding material, because of its high efficiency, good welding process and low cost, is widely used. It has the advantages of adjustable rod ingredients, but also overcome the electrodes can not be continuous, automatic welding shortcomings. It also has a series of advantages, beautiful smooth welds and welding deformation. Therefore, once flux-cored appeared on the market, has been welcomed in manufacturing sector.Currently in the domestic market is more common aluminum and copper-aluminum cored wire, and as the subject of the Al-Si and Al-Si-Cu10-10 alloy cored wire production is minimal. While eliminating the need to manually add the flux during the welding process, to ensure the uniformity of the flux, at the same time, improve the quality of welding complex workpieces, complete automatic welding.Through the study of Al-Si and Al-Si-Cu10-10 alloy flux-cored wire preparation, including the cast alloy, extrusion, rolling research, flux cored wire forming and drawing, annealing process, take the cast master alloy programs to ensure the uniformity of composition, throuth extrusion、rolling prepared the silicon and copper alloy strip, research flux cored wire drawing process, by drawing and annealing processing methods can solve the problem of the hardening brittle.By doing solder spreading and caulk test, the test of mechanical strength properties of welded joints, comparing Al-Si alloy cored wire and Al-Si-Cu alloy cored wire, Al-Si-Cu10-10 alloy cored wire is better mobility, better wetting of the base metal substrate surface, more uniform welding, and the strength tests showed that tensile and shear strength were higher than aluminum-silicon alloy cored wire.Al-Si and Al-Si-Cu alloy cored wire have applied for two patents, have been in accepting.
