Based on the latest advancements of USM at home and abroad, this paper studies USMIMILL by using the principle of laminated object manufacturing technique. This technique, using tool which has simple section shape and the property of uniform wear on the tip of tool, can realize engineering ceramics?high precision 3D contour rotary ultrasonic machining and shows great theoretic valuable and good applied prospect in the futureTo realize USMMI[LL, we design CNC USM7MILL machine tool. The machine tool makes [PC control AC servo system by using PCL832 control card. The PCL832 card is a 3-axis position servo control card, and it may drive three servo motors at the same time. The machine can achieve Z axis pressure closed-loop control, X, Y axis coordinate NC linkage, Z axis coordinatemeasure and compensate on-line.
