Supramolecule chemistry, the emerging and uP-to-date cross subject, involvesall subjects of chemistry biochemistry and material science etc. In thatsuPramolecule chemistry offers an effective method for chemists to solve thelong-term puzzle of improving selectivity it has gotten a great development fromit's theory being pul forward, especia11y, in chromatogram and optical analysis.Nevertheless, it is not until in the latest years that the chemists in electroanalysisattach the importance to suPramolecule chemistry. Now it has been one of the mostpopular subjects in electroanalysis.Cyc1odextrin, one of the most typical hosts of suPramo1ecule system, was usedas the main object in our research. For 6-cyclodextrin (β-CD) could form steadysuPramolecule inclusion complex with ferrocene (Fc), the 6-CD-Fc inclusioncomPlex modified carbon paste electrode (CFCPE) was thus prepared. By thecomParison of CFCPE and ferrocene modified carbon paste electrode, we couldconclude that the formation oI' 6-CD-Fc inclusion complex greatly decreased thesolUbility of the oxidized forn1 of ferrocene (Fc+) in water and correspondinglyimProved the stability and rcproducibility of the electrode. Because the twoelectrodes responded raPidly and sensitively, they can be successfully aPplied to thedetermination of ascorbic acid in ffoit juices. At the same time, the oxidationmechanism of ascorbic acid at CFCPE was studied carefiJllyThe polymer of 6-cyc1odextrin and ePichlorohydrin had been synthesized in astrong base solution. Methylene blue (MB), the electron transfer mediator, andhorseradish peroxides (HRP) were co-immobilized on the electrode to fabricate thehydrogen peroxide sensor by supramolecu1e function between β-CD polymer(β-CDP) and MB, as well as poly-condensation between 0-CDP and glutaricdialdehye (GD). The inclusion reaction and poly-condensation had been confirmedby infrared spectrum. The formation of supramolecular greatly shortened therunning-offofthe water-soluble mediator.:rhe fabricated sensor exhibited excellentstability and 1ifetime, and could be used to determine hydrogen peroxide.
