Stope-caving system has been widely used at home and overseas. Among the tonnage ofores which were mined with stope- caving system in our country, the tonnage of ferrous metalaccounts for percent 85,and the tonnage of non-ferrous metal accounts for percent 30 .Themines which use stope-caving system to mine account for percent 25 or so among all mines.With the developing of mining technology and with the increasing of depth, the proportion ofusing stope-caving system is getting increase.The ores mined with stope-caving system are drawn out under the rock .If the parameter ofstope structure is illogical and drawing control is improper, it will cause more loss and dilution.So studying of the ore-rock moving law, optimizing of the stope structure parameter andcarrying through drawing control will be significant to decrease loss and dilution, and toincrease economical benefits.Drawing theory is to study the avalanched ore-rock moving law under the surroundingrock. Now the relatively systematic drawing theory are elliptical drawing theory, quasi-ellipticaldrawing theory, stochastic medium drawing theory and creep theory. Creep theory may beconsidered as one elliptical drawing theory.Elliptical dlawing theory has founded for so long time that it has great influences.Stochastic medium drawing theory is a new diawing theory. A lot of investigators the that thetwo theories exist some practical and theoreticall shortages. Quasi-elliptical drawing theory wasfounded by Prof. Li Rongfu of xi'an university of architecture and technology in 1994, whichcontains good part of rational kernel of elliptical drawing theory (for example, the sameequation of displacement curve, the same equation of transition, the same equation ofcorrelativity, the average second swell factor is constant).
