The recent studies and applications of some new analytical methods in tobacco chemistry were reviewed in this paper. Some new research and discussion were carried out on the base of the investigation of the predecessors, thus an advanced method of system analysis and an identified technology of chemical composition in tobacco and tobacco products were put forward.A new idea was proposed that the content of some specific composition can not only be paid attention to, but a whole factor should be considered. On this base, the colligating influence of some components on the quality of tobacco was discussed.The contents of cell wall substances were analyzed and determined, and the rule between the contents of cell wall substances and the quality of tobacco were discussed.The content of volatility organic acid and the total degree of acidity of the waterlopping of tobacco were determined, and at the same time some magnificent components of nonvolatility organic acid were determined byGC.The tobacco samples were extracted by a series of organic solvents that have different polarity. The influence of the extracted contents of tobacco on the quality of tobacco was discussed.13-sitosterin and chlorogenic acid was analyzed and determinediirespectively. The element chlorine and potassium were determined as the factor that affects the combustibility of tobacco. The rule of CL was discussed in different tobaccos.
