Much attention was paid to treatment of explosive wastewater at all times. It is important to research the treatment theoretically and practically. Although wastewater in the process of producing hybrid dynamite JH-1 6 has preferable biochemical treatability, it contains such hardly biodegraded material as RDX, lacks nutrimental material and alkalinity, and thus results in difficulty of treatment. In the laboratory, experiment of Batch anaerobic digestion of wastewater in the process of producing hybrid dynamite JH-16 was processed, the experimental results show degradation rate of hexahydro- 1,3 ,5-trinitro- 1,3,5- triazine(RDX) and COD by anaerobic treatment comes up to 94% and 87% respectively. According to the results, UASB and Bio-contact Oxidation was brought forward to discharge wastewater regularly. UASB is seeded using Cattle manure and processes First Start-up for this reactor. The results indicate that methanogenisis of cattle manure is active, its increment is rapid, seeded material of UASB is easily obtained, and problem of lack of seeded material resource of UASB is resolved; Volume Loading Rate increases smoothly. Effect of treatment of RDX is good, and reaches average degradation rate of 88% in anaerobic period. Concentration of effluent RDX achieves national secondary degree standard of industrial wastewater discharge of RDX. Bio-contact oxidation process plays an effective role in following treatment of effluent in UASB, and quality of effluent achieves national first degree standard of wastewater discharge.
