In recent years, metallurgists have paid close attention to the application of the electromagnetic field in metallurgy. Taking advantage of force and the heat generated by electromagnetic field, one can heat or stir or transmit the molten metals or even control the shape of the molten metal in casting without contacting it, which can not be easily done by other ways. So, the join of the electromagnetic field with metallurgical process always leads to the birth of a new technology .For example, electromagnetic stirring and electromagnetic casting was widely used in industry. Now, another potential one in metallurgical process, which was called particles electromagnetic separation from molten metals, absorbed much interest from the metallurgists hi Japan, France and America. Most task finished in text:1. By referring large numbers of literature, sum up development and actuality of particles electromagnetic separation from molten metals, and by comparing to advantages and disadvantages of present electromagnetic skills, point out to have more advantages of applying travelling magnetic field hi industry;2. For finishing experimentation about exploitation of particles electromagnetic separation from molten aluminum., in text we have simulated and experimented distributing of current hi travelling magnetic field and fluidity of molten aluminum., and obtained following conclusions:· Pouring on 800 "C, fluidity of molten aluminum gets well, therefore can assure great flux treated;· V=2cm/s, press and flow relation: y=0.0122x+0.0364 Least press needed in industry: h ^^.=11.26cm;· Relation current and floors :the relation is not evidence, so distributing of current in travelling magnetic field is well-proportioned in portrait;· Distributing of current hi travelling magnetic field in landscape orientation is like " W" .Least current hi industry: I ?in=3. 096A;· Efficiency of particles electromagnetic separation from molten aluminum: for particles of D=10 u m, the efficiency can reach100%.
