Grinders Key Components Of 3d Parametric Feature-based Cad System

Since 1980s, parametric technology has being gradually become the key point to the research in the academia and the industrial realm. Many academicians put forward a lot of parametric model and evaluation arithmetic from different application domains and different academic backgrounds. The parametric design of key parts for grinding machine is blank in our country at present.The realization technologies of the 3D parametric CAD system of key parts for grinding machine are studied according to the practical project. The 3D parametric design method based on features is applied to CAD of the complex key parts for grinding machine, which makes the users design different models of serial products or conveniently modify an original design while they operate alternant screen interfaces.This paper is composed of four parts: the outline of parametric design function based on feature technology, the confirmation of technical parameters of key parts for grinding machine, the key technology of 3D CAD modeling, and the research on the realization technology of the 3D parametric CAD system of key parts for grinding machine.The parametric modeling technology based on feature is discussed and a demonstration is listed on the base of respective research on feature technology and parametric design function in the first part.The serial values of the main design parameters and algebra expressions in the manner of collectivity-relation plot are conformed in the second part, according to structural characters of key parts for grinding machine. Calculation method is decided and formula is selected for the spring of the tailstock. The checking model for the rigidity of the tailstock is setup and the result is obtained.Some key technologies of the founding of 3D CAD model are advanced on the base of the practicing design experience on the development of the system in the third part.The structure of the system, the development of the program, database design function and the realization of key technology are described in detail in the forth part.
