Polyolefin Functional New Unsaturated Polar Monomer Synthesis

In order to improve polyethylene's surface properties, several new type un-saturated polar monomers which would be copolymerized with ethylene have been sythensized. These polar monomers include: pentene-4-ol-l : N,N-dimethyl-N-4-pentenylamine; N,N-diethyl-N-4-pentenylamine ; N-allyl-N-(2,6-diisopropyl)amine ; 1,1-dimethyl-butene-3-ol-l ; pentenylether; allyl (p-methyl)benzene ether; allyl (p-chloro)benzene ether; 2-allyl (p-methyl)phenol; 2-allyl (p-chloro) phenol, et. al. These synthetic material have been characterized by IR and GC/MS methods, its purity have been proved.
